Chapter 17: 2 Mamas and a Pizza Shop

Last week, the first show of 2 Kids Off Grid aired over at 88.7 CoveFM. Tyler and I make our weekly trip to Bridgewater on his days off, so we managed to coordinate our schedule so we could listen to the show as we drove into town. We ended up stopping and getting a coffee so that we could listen to the rest of the show. It was pretty exciting to hear it all come together. I had been thinking about doing a project like this for some time and it was a whole other experience to see it happening. 2 Mamas and a Pizza Shop
If you have been following along since last summer, you'll remember that we discovered how easy it was for us to jump in the canoe and paddle down into New Germany for our weekly date nights grabbing some cheap eats and enjoying a walk down the railroad trail. It was a whole other experience for us to realize just how close the river is to our property and that we could just meander down to the water after work and go for a nice little trip.
In my episode this week, I introduce you to Kellie, Teryn and Kim of 2 Papas Pizzeria, the little restaurant in New Germany. We didn't know it last summer, but their family also recently moved to the area, though they came from Newfoundland. We talk about moving to New Germany, buying a local business and their plans for the future.
